Disappointments- Basics

Standard

Disappointments happen for many reasons.

When it happens, a person falls down on Earth. His hopes are shattered.

These are like mini deaths. People recover and start living again.

Like broken but refixed vases.

The wounds heal. Sometimes scars are left.

I would say that disappointments are nothing but mini deaths. Violations of hopes and expectations.

We live in body. But we also live in our hopes. Our hopes are like extended limbs. When hopes are violated, we feel as if our limbs are killed, violated, murdered.

Meditations suggested:

I am not my hopes.
I am not my expectations.
I have no extended limbs.
I am not even this body.
I am eternal Atma
I am an Aura
I do not gain when hopes are fulfilled.
I do not lose anythings when my expectations are violated.
I live in mindfulness.
I am mindful.
I am A

Defamation – Exception No. 2 – Public Conduct of public servants can be criticized

Standard

Is it defamation to criticize conduct of public servant ?

Exception No. 2 to Sec. 499 IPC says:

Public conduct of public servants- It is not defamation to express in good faith ANY OPINION whatever respecting the conduct of a public servant in the discharge of his public functions, or respecting his character, so far as his character appears in that conduct, and no further.”

Even if this is exception, it may have to be proved in trial and in trial, opponent will get opportunity to cross examine complainant.

Best advice is: Do not defame anyone.
