Standard
In this case 2012(5)Scale 683 page 690 para 22 there was nothing much to set aside conviction order of two courts below.

Then an argument was made that minimum sentence of six months awarded by courts below should be set aside under Art.142.

The Supreme Court held that powers under Art.142 cannot be used to reduce sentence.
