Small victories and small defeats continue to add up to our mind through out the day. We decide to do something. We are able to do it. This is a small victory of will power. We decide to do something, then we change our mind, or we cancel it, or we are unable to do it due to some reason…this is a small defeat.

If we become observer, we can see these small victories and small defeats through out the day.

In court, three cases are listed. One is won. One is dismissed and one is adjourned. Then there are two defeats and one victory.

We go to meet a person. But he is not there at his seat. This is a small defeat.

The life goes on. If you frequently change your mind, if you frequently cancel your projects, if you keep postponing things, if you are frequently losing cases, if you are frequently prevented with adverse circumstances, then you may form a defeatist’s mindset.

It is within our control to not to change our mind frequently. This one thing can start pulling us out from a Defeatist’s Mindset.

Principle of Unity of soul in business and career – when someone decides to support us unconditionally, unity of soul happens at a higher level. Force is generated when unity of many souls happens.

Once the force is generated, it can be applied to material world to change things.

Gandhiji examplified this principle. More and more souls joined with his soul. And without any election, he became a force.

In business and career same things happen. When your staff, your customers, your clients, your referrals begin to support your soul, you become a force. You begin to prosper.

When we begin to think for “Self Interest”, unity of souls weakens.

The staff, the customers, the clients, the referrals begin to start drifting away from us. Our force weakens.

To understand and remember this principle of Unity of Souls has great advantages in business and career.

If I am jobless, if I am fumbling in darkness, it means that my Unity of Souls is weak. It means that other souls around me have not started supporting my soul unconditionally.
